There is a frickin hubbub over the scrapping of the Canadian gun registry due to the cost over run, mis-management, etc....
The cops are screaming that it helps to control the guns in the country....
One of their statements was to the effect that they did not want long guns removed from the registration requirement because, and I forget the number, of deaths were attributed to those weapons...
OK, if the registry is working, how did these guns wind up killing those people?
How did that one handgun that was purchased in Florida manage to make to Toronto where it was used to kill someone?
Gun control is definitely not the answer, unless yer a cop tryin' to keep too much power and control on too many people....
Take the one city or state in the US, can't remember which, but the one that has a law requiring that all citizens carry guns?
No one wants it known that that ploy has actually worked...
If you knew that the person whose house you are about to rob, has a gun and may very well shoot yer ass dead, would you not think twice about it?
Bring back capital punishment. If you knew you were going to die for the shit you are doing, you may think twice about it.
Let's put a stop to the plea bargains and if yer a known criminal, then be ready to be harrased and threatened by the cops...
