Self-centered asses....
I was at the laundromat on Saturday as I am inclined to to weekly, laundry day.
I went in and found a couple of washers available and through my clothes in, dumped the liquid soap in and then started them on the cycle.
I then went a couple of blocks over to the dry cleaner for my work shirts. I don't like the way they come out when I wash them myself.
Anyway, I came back to the laundromat in time to watch both of my washers complete their cycles.
There was another person, I was going to use the term lady but can't seem to bring myself to describe the bitch as such. She had taken all of the courtesy laundry carts for her own use. She not only had them for moving the wet clothes from the washers to the dryers, she was using them for holding the dry clothes while she folded them and put them in another one.
I ended up taking hands full of my wet clothes from one side of the place to the other because of the bitch. She seemed completely oblivious to all of the other people in the place. She had about half of the dryers blocked up with her ignorant presence as well.
Anyway, I did find another dryer but low and behold, the damn thing was broken and no sign to let anyone know, lost a quarter in that one. Good thing the one next to it was empty as well and I could get the drying started.
There was another ignorant old lady in there as well. While the one had all of the carts and half the dryers blocked as well as one of the two folding tables, the other had the other folding table taken up with a couple of items.
The people just don't think? They are blind to everything and everyone but themselves and their needs?
No wonder this world is going to hell...

An Irish Bet
A Texan walks into a pub in Ireland and clears his voice to the crowd of drinkers. He says, "I hear you Irish are a bunch of hard drinkers. I'll give $500 American dollars to anybody in here who can drink 10 pints of Guinness back-to-back." The room is quiet and no one takes up the Texan's offer.
One man even leaves. Thirty minutes later the same gentleman who left shows back up and taps the Texan on the shoulder. "Is your bet still good?" asks the Irishman.
The Texan says yes and asks the bartender to line up 10 pints of Guinness. Immediately the Irishman tears into all 10 of the pint glasses drinking them all back-to-back.
The other pub patrons cheer as the Texan sits in amazement.
The Texan gives the Irishman the $500 and says, "If ya don't mind me askin', where did you go for that 30 minutes you were gone?"
The Irishman replies, "Oh ... I had to go to the pub down the street to see if I could do it first."

Stupid bitch calls in and starts screaming right off the bat...
"Why did I get you?"

"I followed the menu and put in the extension which is supposed to get me to a persons voicemail!"
"If you call during business hours, someone is going to pick it up!"
"I'm too busy, I have another call coming in!"
Repeat above two more times...
"I'm too busy and your wasting my time(click)"

That didn't hurt a bit...
Funny how I have been a daily poster for so long and then drop back to the intermittant. I had a couple of other blogs that were found by a couple of rats on my team at work who then made sure my managers found them. The information on them was a crap load less than sparkling about them and guess what? Got my ass kicked back to the position I now how and have held for over 5 years.
One has left the company, can't figure out any more than she had an accident and her memory is gone, too bad. Yea, that was a little sarcasm.

Amazing...
Some people are so arrogant..
Just how do these people get to the point where they believe themselves to be above all others?...
Had one guy call in yesterday, had a product that wasn't even a week old when it failed...
I tell him that the quickest and easiest way to have it replaced is to return it to the store where he purchased it, this would take some common sense which, apparently, is not so common...
He asked if I was an employee of the client. I told him that I worked "for" the client so he asked again. I then told him that we were outsourced, he asked the name of the company which I refused to provide. He then tells me that he is going to contact the client to complain about his support experience and I told him I would be calling him back as the representative of the client.
Apparently, he thinks he can go around me, what an ass...
Wait till I call him back...
I'll bet he still will believe that he has more rights than anyone else and should have preferential treatment.
I really like it when they name off all of the products they have which don't amount to a hill of beans when it come to a multinational, multi-billion dollar company...

Oddity...
I guess I was a bit of an oddity, what the hell do I mean "was"?...
I missed posting yesterday and I guess it seems to be getting less important to post each and every day. I only missed one other day in the over a year that I have had this blog...
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a quitter but this seems to be more of a drag to get done day in and day out...
I won't quit entirely but I think I'm going to reduce the number of postings. Every other blog I visit on a daily basis, have missed more than one day of posting.
I will keep my graffiti postings going, got enough pics to run that for a long time to come and maybe I'll find other things to go with too...
Hope all are in the midst of a good weekend, we got some damnable snow last night, too little, too late...

New?...
Not sure just how good this is going to be but we have now moved to the "new" blogger....
Had an idiot call in today who was someone else's customer. At our level, we have our own customers, that way the customer has one person to deal with until the issue is resolved and they don't have to keep repeating themselves and starting fresh every time they call in.
This guy claimed to have been talking to one of my colleagues and claimed that he was told that we did not have time, he would have to write down the instructions and go try them for his fix...
I find that he has a different person as his contact and no where is the person he referenced, listed as speaking to him.
The next thing he wants is someone to help him with his issue which I try to do but I have to get information about it.
He starts to complain about having to repeat himself and one hand not knowing what the other was doing etc...
Just why the hell do you think we have you contacting just one person, asshole?...

Some people...
One of my customers called in today because he really isn't too awfully bright..
Mud puddle ring a bell....
Anyway, I think I have mentioned before that one of my colleagues is from East India although he has been in this country for 30 years.
When the above referenced lame brained customer got through, he connected with the Gentleman I also mentioned...
The first thing he and his wife did was to scream at the top of their voices that they wanted someone located in a place other than India, typical New York, Bronx, asses...
It took several minutes to get them to shut up so they could be transferred to me. It was then that I remembered who they were and how they acted the first time I spoke to them. The husband was a little strange but workable. The wife, however, was a different story.
On the first call with them, I had to wait for her to shut up before I could hear him or he could hear me. Something would be happening with the unit we were working on and she would start yelling like she was trying to talk to somebody in China. The call could have been much shorter than the hour and a quarter it took if he had been the only on that end...
This time I had to work with her, not easy by any stretch.
Apparently, the hard drive in their computer was failing and had already been setup for replacement. How did they expect anything else in the system to work?
Finally got them convinced that they would have to wait for the hard drive replacement and reinstall of the OS before trying get our software and hardware to work...

Well, not a bad day after all...
Kind of unusual as it was noted by many that I had been sick and not in the office...
A little confusing, I am usually not missed at all and that would be just because...
Not sure what is happening out there but one manager was fired last Friday and another was moved back to work on my team, maybe they have decided to clean out some of the crap, we'll see...
I think I am going to change my posting time to later in the day, I'll have more time to think crap up to post not to mention material from the days activities.

Wow...
Didn't realize how good yogurt was for the system...
I took my last antibiotic last night and then got into some yogurt because it puts back some stuff that the antibiotic kills and it works quite well...
Gonna take this last day off just to make sure I'll be good to go from here on out.
Everybody should watch the movie "Jackass II", absolutely hilarious...
Team Sanchez on one of the comedy channels is of the same general goofieness...

The end....
The end of another week and I am still going to do the same things tomorrow, and then again Tuesday and again on Wednesday etc, etc, etc....

I've decided to buy a guitar and amp this week, never too late to learn and try something else....

Yea, I called in sick again, need the time to recupe and get a couple of things done too...
Damned if we didn't run out of heating oil, in the night, no biggie, I'll order some today...
That in itself can be quite an adventure. The oil companies have an idea that they are the rulers of this country and if you think about it, they do...
Too bad we are having such a warm winter...
I'll call, ask for a fill and they will not accept a cheque even though I have never bounced one with them. It has to be cash. I will be asking if they can provide an account number, then I can pay online before ordering and avoid the need for someone to be here for the friggin delivery. Don't hold much hope out for that either but what the hell...

Kinda funny...
Anybody watch Springer?
Talk about sad....
Every once in awhile, I happen to stop for a peek because the title piques just a little of my interest.
Today its "Happy Nude Year"
K, what makes this different than any other one of his shows? Nothing...
Not only are these people stupid but they are UGLY!
The "contestants", "combatants", whatever you want to call them, have to know that all they are there for is the entertainment of millions of other people. They are all prepared to drop their laundry and start the hair pulling and obscenity yelling at the drop of a hat.
The funny thing is, the people in the audience aren't much better...
Does anyone know of any person who has been a participant on Jerry Springer, that has gone on to bigger and better things?

Wow, did I spell that right?
The client company, in its infinite wisdom and as a cost cutting measure, imagine, not making enough profit yet, decided to do away with hardcopy manuals for one of its product lines. You cannot even order it.
Guess what people are screaming the most about this year...., no really, its the fact that they did not get a hardcopy manual...
Now, just how many times and how many people have to tell you that it is not available before you actually say, "I guess its not available."?
Let's see, we'll go all the way up to the CEO and corporate office, they'll have one they can send...
Assholes, there are NONE!
Pay attention the first time. It'll save you and a lot of other people a whole lot of grief!
BTW, when I say that I am working on it, don't come back with, "What the fuck good does that do me?" and then hang up. You sure as hell are not getting anything that way...

I really don't know how I made it through yesterday....
I can't believe the nerve of some people...
Guy calls in to technical support, remember, this is a holiday, and screams and bitches until he is escalated to my team.
The unit he purchased no more than three days ago, was DOA, suck it up princess, shit happens...
So, when he got to the member on my team that was to deal with the issue, it was suggested that he return the unit to the place of purchase.
His response was to the effect, "That is all your going to do for me, the store is closed today!"
OK, first question, what part of "holiday" do you not understand?
Second question, did you really think that by screaming your way up the ladder, someone would hand deliver a unit to you on a "holiday"?
