Things that make you go hhmm.... 140
Here it is Sunday and tomorrow I go back to work...
I did not get near the number of things done while off that I had planned on....
Just shows that I should never make plans, they never come to fruition when I do....
Anyway, today I will be mounting the new screen door for the front, adjusting the light fixtures on the front of the house, adding an outlet with the front lights to make it easy to add the Christmas lights, and put in the bigger air conditioner I bought last night...
The 5000 BTU one that I have cools the place to a certain degree but has a hard time keeping up with the heatwave we are now in so I got an 8000 BTU...
Did you know that these things come with a remote control? I don't even have to leave my desk to make any adjustments to it....
Guess that's today's update, have a great Sunday...

Things that make you go hhmm.... 139
I am so pissed off about the hospital trip yesterday...
My appointment was for 9 am and I was told to be there a half hour early to register and be ready...
At 11 am, they finally call me in to a room where I thought things would get under way, was I mistaken...
The surgeon had his "intern" (form of "lackey") check out the cyst on my back...
Told me there were three options, they could just drain but that it would most likely just return, open up my back and try taking it all out in one piece which could result in option three anyway if they happen to nick the casing, and the last option, open it up, drain it out and them pack it with a piece of the material sticking out to continue to drain and heal from the inside out...
I thought, "whatever, just get it done!".
At 4 pm, I walked up to the nurses station and told them that when the asshole doctor, if the asshole doctor, asked where I was, I was gone. I told her the, "Waiting for 7 and a half hours for something that was supposed to be a simple procedure, was retarded!"
So, I still have my lump and the associated pain and will now put up with it till my family doctor can get me in with someone else and possibly somewhere else...

I get to see a surgeon this morning, yay me!
I decided to open a second account in a different financial institution, credit union, and visited the place yesterday afternoon...
Not sure who arranges crap there but it left me wondering...
They could not open an account when I stepped through the door at about 10:30 but could at about 3:00 in the afternoon...
Seems that most of the regular staff is out on holidays so none of the temps knew how to do it....
Got an appointment Saturday to get it done, imagine...

This damn thing on my back is starting to interfere with everything I do...
I don't know just how many times it had me awake in the night....
I can't lean back in a chair...
It feels like when you force your elbows back as far as you can with a tennis ball right at your spine....
And the pain is non-stop, all of the time....
Gonna have to get on my doctors ass about getting one of the damned surgeons to get this frickin thing removed...

Tuesday already...
Saw a story last night about a little kid that is missing and presumed drowned....
He was playing with a couple of friends and fell into a fast moving creek. His two friends went in to try to save him and were barely rescued themselves...
When they interviewed the aunt to the kid, she said that they told the kids to stay away from the creek but thought that the kids were in the back yard...
What kid listens to exactly what a parent says?
What kid does not do what they are told not to do?
How long should you not think about the kid, giving him the opportunity to get to this creek?
When does the parent not have the responsibility to be watching out for their own offspring?
And finally, just how long do you think it will take for the parent to lay the blame on someone other than themselves?

Found that Future Shop had some air conditioners on sale for $100 so I bought two...
also found that the one I've had for three years was retaining water, don't know where or how but when I tipped it up to take it out of the window, it poured out of it all over the floor and couch.... What a mess...
At least the room is now livable...
Also blew almost $900 on renovation supplies, new screen door, 2x4's, drywall, insulation, vapour barrier, etc...
Should be a wearing week ahead...

Went to my doctor yesterday and found out that they don't know how to keep records...
My first visit to them, about two weeks ago,, in more than four years, I provided my newest phone number because it had changed...
Yesterday, I find out that the surgeon that I am supposed to see, was trying to contact me on the old number, DER!...
They now have my new one, again, and my cell phone, however, I was told to call the surgeons office even though he is now gone for a month...WTF...
So, as soon as I get in the door from seeing the one, I call the other to find out his office is closed till Monday morning....
Starting to get a little ridiculous...
Some good news though, my blood pressure is down to 135/75 as opposed to the original 175/100... the doc gave me another prescription for more of the meds that seem to be working...
Cholesterol is a tiny bit high but no biggy...
I'm off to buy a new air conditioner and some renovation materials, about $1500 if I'm lucky...

Got a message while at work yesterday, that I have a doc's appointment at noon today...
The lump on my back has grown to the size of a tennis ball and really quite painful...
One bonus is that it has a friend growing lower down the left side...
Now I know I was a twin but could this be an unborn triplet... too funny...
Anyway, should know more for tomorrows post...
On the up side of things, it gives me an extra day to my vacation, 10 days in a row, how sweet it is!

More fun with what some people think is tech support...
Some old girl bought a unit about 4/5 years ago and is so much less than careful as to have broken off a very small part...
Due to the age of the unit, the only thing that can be done is to replace it with a newer one at a cost as it is out of warranty...
She states that she will never buy from this manufacturer again because she cannot buy that part, just another ass...
Then we have the old girl who does not like to listen...
She was having some difficulty with a couple of tasks in her computer and as I am likened to do, even though it isn't our companies issue, I try to assist...
I think she was more than half deaf and the other half would not listen...
I asked her to retrace her steps so that I could figure out exactly what she was doing...
I told her that when she reached a certain point, stop, do not touch, point at, click on or do anything else except exactly what I told her...
She reached the point I requested and then proceeded to delete a bunch of files and she wouldn't tell me why...
I told her that I couldn't help her if she wasn't going to do as I asked and she accused me of getting snippity...WTF...
Anyway, I managed to get her through the process that would work for her, twice...
I never want to talk to her again.....

Has anyone else made a mistake, apparently not the people I talked to yesterday...
Called these people up because they seem to have received a product that they did not order...
They demanded that I provide the last four digits of the credit card number that was used to purchase the product but they were concerned about identity theft...
Someone in the frontlines provided them with the name and number of another customer, I have to assume, by mistake in the process of verifying the customer information...
They had a concern that someone had a credit card in their name and were using it for all sorts of purchases...
They expected me to compound the mistake by providing even more information....
They have that right?
Not likely...
Pretty much told them to piss off and I have already initiated internal processes to stop this kind of shit from happening again but wtf....

TGIF.... again...
These just seem to keep coming around...
For some, this is a long weekend, hope it is good for those people...
The lump on my back seems to be getting more sore as time moves on....
One of my coworkers husband had the same kind of lump and she noted that she expects me to be off for at least 6 weeks....

In a backhanded way, the news is reasonably good...
It seems to still be a cyst but will have to be removed anyway, that means at least two more days off, one for the interview with the surgeon and the second for the surgery...
I am once again on blood pressure medication, seems it was way too high and I had stopped taking mine almost four years ago because of the cost...
There is also a crapload of bloodwork being done with diabetes and cholesterol being checked...
One curious thing, he wants to know what type of cancer took my mother, my sister and that my oldest brother has.....
Guess it means I am more likely than average to get cancer...

On the work front it looks like upper management has not looked at what middle management is doing to the front line people as they just keep promoting them to higher positions to enable them to screw over even more people...

Found what could be the cause of my headache last week....
I have had a cyst on my back for 20/25 years but it has never caused any problems or been a problem...
As of Wednesday last week, the damn thing has grown to the size of a figgin golf ball and is actually hurting....
Got an appointment with the Doc tomorrow, a little worried...
I found another smaller one in my armpit on Thursday last week too....
That's it for today...

Things that make you go hhmm.... 125
Wow, didn't realize just how much humidity was in my house...
Got close to a gallon in the first 4 hours of running the new dehumidifier....
Got a new USB hub as well and that is just great...
I can plug in a crap load more stuff and no more swapping in and out....
One other thing I grabbed up too, a DVD player for the TV...
We had one from one of those rent to own places but from the start it would play no more than 10 minutes then the video and sound went right out of sync...
We then used the PS2 but that is starting to skip on some of the movies too...
The new KOSS DVD player will accept divx/mp3/memory cards and other stuff...
Gonna take a few days to figure it out...

I've never had so much medication and not had it have some effect.....
Didn't seem to matter what I did, I could not get that damned headache to even drop to a dull roar...
Anyway, my daughter bought me a cell phone and I guess that brings me closer to the phone in the ear all of the time people....
Good thing I don't have too many friends...
Got to get the lawn cut today, hair cut, dehumidifier, I think the damp in the house had something to do with the headache, laundry and some groceries.. Gonna be a busy day...

"I am never buying from your company ever again because you don't make products that last...."
What the hell do people expect?
They seem to expect that if they spend so much as even a nickel on anything, it should last forever.... WTF?
Anyway, I have a meeting with HR today and that will determine just how much closer to being fired I will be....
I have far too many complaints about the way management has been treating me as well as others in this company and have decided that I refuse to stand for this crap anymore...

Don't know how many people out there surf blogs but I am getting a little ticked at the asses that seem to think pop-up ads are really the way to go...
Pure asses as far as I am concerned...
Had one lady call up this week with a unit that was over 6 months old and screeched about wanting her money back...
She told me that she was 71, like that has anything to do with my decisions.....
4 separate times, she screeched herself into a hacking, coughing fit....
I would have enjoyed hearing her take a heart attack during one of them...
Found more than a little humour in her name and actions - "screaming Mimi"...
Anyway, got some money that needs spending this week, a completely new wardrobe and a new scanner, got a crap load of pics that have to be rescanned in....

Had a call a couple of days ago....
Lady bought the product last thanksgiving and had a problem with it now....'
She called technical support and just screeched at them to refund her money...
When she got to me it was exactly the same thing....
She made a pint that she was 71 years old, that means something?
Every time I tried to speak, she would start screeching....

Even though the bank says there is a hold on the money that I deposited from my uncle, I think I'm going to try to withdraw some tomorrow to see if they really have a hold on it....
Got a couple of things to get as well as some bills to pay off....
Then I have to find some sort of investment for the rest, not sure just what would be best, but have to figure it out soon...
Kid got himself a new bicycle today and a couple of other things that he desperately needed...
Guess time will tell...
Just remembered a bitch I was talking to yesterday, had to get her to someone else before I went off...
I made a small error in setting up a service for her and she called back, pissed completely off...
She started yelling about how her uncle was dying and family comes first so she couldn't deal with it at the time she should have...
I came a matter of seconds away from telling her to fuck right off... one of my two dad's just came out of surgery to have a second clot removed from his brain and we are not sure just how long one of my uncles has left... and I'm listening to some fucking jerkoff bitch who can't see past her own wants to see that other things may be involved...
At least I was able to pass the bitch to someone else and don't have to deal with her anymore...

I hate cats....
We have had one in the basement for about three weeks now and I was really tired of the damned yowling it has been doing....
There is a crawl space in the back part of the house where we can't reach it. The kid went down quite a few times to try to lure the little shit out of there but it was to scared and would hide back in the crawl space...
I think it got in through a window on one side but could not get back up to it to get out...
I finally decided to leave the back door open for a bit as I'm here for the day...
When I opened the door, I found a crap load of feathers all over the landing and steps to the basement...
My question: How the hell did the cat manage to get a bird into the basement and eat all but the feathers at the back door?...
Needless to say, I think the frickin thing is now gone...
Hope there are no little ones back in the crawlspace to die and stink up the place...
BTW, I also hate frickin allergies and sinus infections!!! Only took three times longer to write this between pills and sneezing, not to mention the watering, itching eyes.....
Jeez, seems that I'm in a rut, I also hate when I start a four gig download of Windows Vista Beta 2 before going to bed and waking to find that an error has occurred and the file can't be saved so I have to start it over again...

You would not believe the hoops you have to jump through to just throw a frickin cheque into a bank account....
My Son and I both received cheques in the amount of $16,000 from one of my uncles who is dying...
Because my bank is different from the one my uncle uses, the funds are bring held for more than a week...
We asked about opening an account for my son who is a minor, he is only 17, but got nothing but attitude and bullshit from the people at my bank...
They said we needed two particular pieces of ID to open the account and would not even look into any possibilities to try to get it done...
Needless to say, they will be losing all of my business...
We opened an account for him in the same bank as my uncle uses and the money was moved immediately...
What kind of customer service is that.... Oh, right, we are in Canada and not entitled to any consideration....

Funny the thoughts that go through your mind when you know that you are getting a tidy sum from a relative...
I have to put together a thankyou letter but how do I do that when I haven't Seen the guy for more years than I can remember?...
I will have to include some pics of my kids so he'll see who he left his money to....
These are the same people who made sure that my twin and I knew we were not part of the actual family as we were adopted...
Definitely not afforded the same consideration...
I have learned to take whatever is given and walk away....

The bitch my oldest son is hooked up with has managed to have him cut completely off from the whole family... spending far too much time trying to figure out what the F that bitch has done and where he is so that we can contact him....
I have an uncle that is a multi-millionaire that, as far as I know for all these years, did not like my adopted brother and myself but he is now dying, and rather quickly in my understanding, so he is handing out cheques...
My twin brother, me, my two sons and my daughter have all been given a stipend by him...
I don't even know what to think of this...
Maybe the ol' man will take a note here and do the same?...

What a start...
Got a message that one of my two dads had a clot surgically removed from his brain on Friday night....
This provided one of my brothers the opportunity to show up and annoy the shit out of me, not once but twice...
Found that the woman he hooked up with is even more loony than the last two....
I won't explain the family now but a quick blurb, I have two dads, note the lower case as there is a reason, seven Mothers and thirteen brothers and sisters...
Confuses the hell out of people and can turn into a long story...
I may expand on it through this blog but it will be tid bits at a time, if you want it, you'll have to piece it together or I may summarize down the road...
Anyway, thanks for the well wish Mr McKay, and yes, I did earn it....

Not only is it TGIF, but it is a happy Friday.... last day before vacation... YAY!!!
My electric bill for the months of December 20 to March 20 came in April sometime. At that time, I made arrangements for payment and included the authorization codes that the bank adds to each transaction....
Now, remember, this bill was for over $900...
I arrived home yesterday to a letter that states if I do not pay the final $300 balance by May 31, they will be disconnecting my electric....
When I emailed the payment details to them, they sent two responses, one noting that someone will be getting back to me, an auto reply and then the person who actually got back to me...
I immediately sent a nastygram right back to them and will have to follow up with my Minister of Parliament.
They are getting a little more than ignorant and I, for one, will not stand for this shit....
Anyway, that is my rant for the day...

Two more days and I'm on vacation.....
I really like working with the really big accounts...
One I had to deal with yesterday has just purchased a multimillion dollar contract from the client company I work for...
They had six unit fail and I had to take care of three of them...
When dealing with companies like these, no troubleshooting is required, just replace the failed products and the processes that are normally adhered to religiously, fall by the wayside...
It is really interesting to watch a process that normally takes as long as 24 hours to complete, done in a matter of 20 minutes...
Really can't wait for the followup today....
Side note, one of my customer wrote a letter of commendation for me and some how it went up through the ranks to the top people in the client company, to be sent back to me by the top person on the list
I don't usually give two shits if the upper people notice the work I do, just take satisfaction in the fact that I do what needs to be done.
Guess, after almost six years with the company, a little recognition is welcome...

There really is no sensibility anymore, is there?
Guy has a $500 digital camera. He's taking pictures on a dock(pier). A wind comes up and blows it into the water including the tripod that it is on. In his own words he says that it is in about 5 feet of water.
What would you do if this happened to you?
I would have found a way to fish it out and with the accidental damage warranty, had it replaced.
The guy I talked to yesterday truly believed that he would get a replacement without having to retrieve the damaged unit.
How many companies just give away free replacement cameras if you happen to lose the original one?
One statement he made was to the effect that I should go down there and show him how to try to retrieve it...
As he was hanging up, I heard him tell his wife that I expected him to get the camera before I would replace it... WTF

There is a frickin hubbub over the scrapping of the Canadian gun registry due to the cost over run, mis-management, etc....
The cops are screaming that it helps to control the guns in the country....
One of their statements was to the effect that they did not want long guns removed from the registration requirement because, and I forget the number, of deaths were attributed to those weapons...
OK, if the registry is working, how did these guns wind up killing those people?
How did that one handgun that was purchased in Florida manage to make to Toronto where it was used to kill someone?
Gun control is definitely not the answer, unless yer a cop tryin' to keep too much power and control on too many people....
Take the one city or state in the US, can't remember which, but the one that has a law requiring that all citizens carry guns?
No one wants it known that that ploy has actually worked...
If you knew that the person whose house you are about to rob, has a gun and may very well shoot yer ass dead, would you not think twice about it?
Bring back capital punishment. If you knew you were going to die for the shit you are doing, you may think twice about it.
Let's put a stop to the plea bargains and if yer a known criminal, then be ready to be harrased and threatened by the cops...

I love Thursday's, if you have to like one day at work....
I get to talk to irates and idiots for the first 5 hours but then I have calls for the last three hours with my companies clients....
On these calls, I get to bring issues we see to the client so they can fix their processes, procedures, software and hardware.
To bring a customer up to my team is one of the most expensive propositions in the whole system...
We have the ability to buy back the product, dropship brand new products, compensate with product or cut them a cheque for the trouble...
One thing we do not compensate for is time or lost wages, income, etc...
I like my job to a certain extent but I really don't care for most of the management in my own company, I won't get into that here, I have other blogs for that....

I would like to know just how people think, to a certain extent...
Had one customer call in as she had purchase one of the products I support, less than two weeks ago...
She had a problem with it and tried to take it back to the store where she purchased it but they wanted either a restocking fee or would replace with a similar product...
She contacted us, determined to have her money refunded...
Just what makes the people think that because they don't like the return policy of a store, they can scream and yell at the manufacturer?
How do they think we, as the manufacturer, are responsible for the policy of the store?
Have they ever heard the expression "Buyer Beware"?
Have they read the warranty statement in regard to the product?
And if they have, how do so many people think that the warranty only applies to everyone else and not them?
I even asked one about two weeks ago, "You feel that you should be the one to set the warranty policy?"
Not very bright, some of these people...
And to scream and demand of the only person who is there to assist...
I had one, years ago, ask to talk to the person he had managed to disconnect himself from...
He had called back in and escalated to me so I had him calmed after about 4 warnings about his language and was about to give him exactly what he wanted...
I said, "Give me a moment, I'm going to put you on hold for just a couple of moments so that I can transfer you to that person."
He immediately call me a "fucking scumbag"..

It;s booked for the last week of the month but each day I put behind me is one day closer...
I haven't had a week of since July last year...
I am working on three weeks for each year now that I have surpassed 5 years with the company and even with the one I have at the end of this month, I will still have three weeks coming to me...
And as a side note, I have had perfect attendance at work for over 5 1/2 years. Messed it up in March and April, had one day each month that I was finally knocked down by some nasty little bug...

Well, that was an interesting day...
The first call, a guy asked to speak to "TM".I told him that she was out of the office for the day to which he replied, "I want her supervisor now!"
I asked him for a case number or phone number so I had something to reference. He demanded that I transfer him immediately.
I said, "Not till I have some sort of identifying information!"
He say, "I'm calling the corporate office!" and immediately hangs up....
An ass, I think so....
The next one has a contact for two different product lines. I tell her, by the notes, she is going to have to contact the one in the other office as that is where the problem lies.
She tries to escalate with me and for an issue that is not dealt with by my team.... Got her to go to the contact.
The next one was a guy calling in for an issue with a product I don't support but is supported by others on my team.
He says, "I am having a problem with this unit."
I say, "OK, I'm going to need a phone number or case number?"
He says, "I just want help with this unit!"
I say, "I have to know what the issue is and other identifying information."
He then provides the case number but it is at least 5 months old. I say, "Your contact is WJ"
He then gets right snotty, "Why didn't you tell me that immediately?!"
I say, "I just found it with the case number you provided and give me a moment or two and I'll see if he is available."
He demands to be transferred to him NOW!
I say, "No, I have to see if he is available!"
He then gets rude, "Your not helping at all, time is money, transfer me to his supervisor NOW!"
I say, "Not till I find out if he is available!"
He then says, "I'm going to have your fucking ass fired you fucking asshole, I'm calling soandso (don't know the name he was referring to but so close to "no way" will I hear anything from this person) and your gone!!" He then slams the phone down.
Now, I ask, just how smart are these people?
Do they think that by yelling and cursing at the people who are empowered to help will get them anything?
Just how stupid are they?
There are only, maybe six people in the client company that can tell us to do anything and that includes firing...

The next one has a contact for two different product lines. I tell her, by the notes, she is going to have to contact the one in the other office as that is where the problem lies.
She tries to escalate with me and for an issue that is not dealt with by my team.... Got her to go to the contact.
The next one was a guy calling in for an issue with a product I don't support but is supported by others on my team.
He says, "I am having a problem with this unit."
I say, "OK, I'm going to need a phone number or case number?"
He says, "I just want help with this unit!"
I say, "I have to know what the issue is and other identifying information."
He then provides the case number but it is at least 5 months old. I say, "Your contact is WJ"
He then gets right snotty, "Why didn't you tell me that immediately?!"
I say, "I just found it with the case number you provided and give me a moment or two and I'll see if he is available."
He demands to be transferred to him NOW!
I say, "No, I have to see if he is available!"
He then gets rude, "Your not helping at all, time is money, transfer me to his supervisor NOW!"
I say, "Not till I find out if he is available!"
He then says, "I'm going to have your fucking ass fired you fucking asshole, I'm calling soandso (don't know the name he was referring to but so close to "no way" will I hear anything from this person) and your gone!!" He then slams the phone down.
Now, I ask, just how smart are these people?
Do they think that by yelling and cursing at the people who are empowered to help will get them anything?
Just how stupid are they?
There are only, maybe six people in the client company that can tell us to do anything and that includes firing...
Just made for a rather interesting day...

Looks like I'm getting less to write about from the people who are calling in at work...
They seem to be more deserving and less demanding but, man, there are a lot of them....
Did have one I can't figure out...
She purchased the product in July of last year, has a 1 year warranty...
Her demand is an upgrade because the unit failed...
There are no upgrade options but I did offer to replace it with a working unit and stick with her till it was resolved...
He reaction was, "No, I'll go buy another make and model!" , then hung up...
WTF?

Well, we have managed to reach the next humpday, one day closer to my week off...
I have the last week of the month off and am I ever looking forward to it not to mention needing it in a desperate way...
Pretty much everyone I talked to yesterday were more than reasonable in their requests...
Makes for a fairly good day although it did seem rather long...
I was given a drive to pull some TV shows from, one being the first two seasons of "House"...
Ya gotta see this, not only informative but funny too...
I have not had a television feed since July of last year so getting anything in shows is appreciated...

I have some of the sweetest neighbors....
My daughter came over to visit on Sunday and when she arrived, she decided to take Brutus out. She took him about twenty feet off my driveway onto the street.
I live on a little deadend street that has about a dozen houses on it and I'm right up at the end.
Brutus is a Pit Bull that has been banned in this province and, no, I do not agree with it in anyway, shape or from...
They decided to condemn a breed instead of the asshole owners...
Anyway, about an hour later I have the cops show up at my door. Seems the one neighbor that has only been on the street for about two years and has about as much in the way of brains as a turnip,is the one that called complaining about my dog being out without a muzzle...
I told the cops this," Think about this, I have been living here for sixteen years, my dog is twelve years old so he has been here is whole life, and the bitch that called you has only been here two years, think about it carefully!"
Their reaction was to shake their heads and tell me that there was no way that they were going to write this up...

Things that make you go hhmm.... 103
How do you tell someone that has always gone through life, not having to make adjustments to anything, technology related, to have things turn out the way he likes, that he now has to make adjustments?
He has a camera tat, when he takes a picture of a really yellow flower on a bright green background, shows a great deal of green in the flowers.
As soon as I saw the images on my screen I could see that the green had invaded the yellow in the flowers and so could everyone else who has seen them.
He is steadfast in his belief that the images are absolutely perfect because it looks fine on his screen and prints that way on some really cheap ass printer.
He notes that the camera is supposed to be a point and shoot and refuses to believe that in some instances that he is going to have to make some sort of adjustment...

This working thing is really getting in the way of having fun......
I have a really stupid neighbor, well most of them but some more so than others...
The two directly next door on each side have put up fences to either block me and my property out of their lives or block me into my own little corner...
I live on a little dead end street, right at the end...
Anyway, the one decided Tuesday, to put this fence up along my garage and one piece of driveway...
The nicked a 2 inch conduit that holds phone lines and TV cable, guess it messed up the conduit a bit but, if that weren't enough, about 10 feet further along they chopped clean through it....
200 phone lines and TV cable gone in a matter of seconds...
I got home and found the Bell truck blocking my driveway as the guy was sitting in the hole reconnecting the cables...
He said that the fence job just got a shitload more expensive.... too funny....
These people have been trying to get me off this street for more than 16 years but they don't seem to have gotten the message, I ain't goin' anywhere...
Just some more interesting crap in my life...

If nothing else, it is at least humpday...
A couple of the people I assisted yesterday make s talking to complete asses almost worth it...
I was trying to get to one of my customers and the phone number came up with a message that it was not in service. That left only email.
I got a reply from her via email with a response that she had talked to someone else who had resolved the issue she had.
On research, I found that nothing had been done in anyway...
So, I emailed back requesting that she call me as soon as possible...
She did and that is when she became extremely happy that I was a little insistent on the contact...
She had been charged more money that she should not have been...
Seems that a place where she dropped off a parcel for shipping waited almost a month to do so and the people she had been talking to could not even correct the phone number and address information...
I requested the refund, corrected the contact information and provided both the tracking number and reason for the charge...
Very grateful customer who asked for a way to let someone know how I took care of the issue...
My response: Just doing my job.

What the hell is it with some people?
One guy I talked to yesterday, purchased the cheapest version of one product and expected it to perform like the top of the line....
When ya spend so little on something, stop and think, maybe I should spend just a bit more and then I can expect more....
Then we have people who think they should tell the company how long a product should last and be warranted for...
The unit was three years old, two years out of warranty and she wants it replaced free of charge...
Claims that the company is not standing behind their product...
What the hell do they think the warranty is there for?
