Screwed either way...

I was listening to the radio yesterday and one of the hosts was talking about the bill they received for their cell phones.

Her husband has his own company and the phones are associated with it.

They got one for their daughter so they can keep in touch.

They got a bill for $4000 and Bell claimed that their young daughter was using the phone for web browsing for 9 hours every night starting just after midnight. WTF?

When they called Bell to find out what the hell happened, they were told that they would not have to pay the bill if they started paying $7 per month per phone for a web browsing package. WTF/

Here is the way I see it. We have a flaw in our phone system that we can screw you for huge amounts of money with or we can still screw you by charging you to fix the flaw.

Guaranteed that I would put an end to that crap with a different phone company.

It shows all too clearly just how some companies have gotten too big and have distanced themselves from the customers they are supposed to be servicing..
